Me, Jesus and the Engineer

I have a friend called the Engineer. I don't know his name, and I've never bothered to ask. One day, when I find a strange little wooden tablet with unclear text on it that I need help to deciphering, the Engineer is my first choice.

When he can't decipher it, he takes me to a strange man who mostly hangs out down in the park. He goes by the name of Jesus.

Stefan Holtz, a detective inspector at the Stockholm Police, and his colleague, detective assistant Sebastian Svensson, are tearing their hair out in pursuit of a perpetrator who is in the process of committing a crime that is seemingly a direct copy of Dan Blanc's ongoing novel.
